The holidays have arrived!

Not only do we love this time of year, but we love seeing all of the gorgeous lights and decorations all over The Valley.

1. Christmas at The Princess | Scottsdale

Celebrate the splendor of the season and discover the place to be during the holidays. Every winter, our resort transforms into an enchanting holiday wonderland with festive decorations and over four million sparkling LED lights: Christmas at the Princess. Go ice skating and watch colorful light shows in the Enchanted Plaza. Roast marshmallows and make s'mores together. 2. Lights of the World | Phoenix

10 Million Lights across 65 stunning displays, authentic artisans and food purveyors, live performances, carnival rides & fun! The unique, international lights and lantern arts festival combines the age-old Chinese tradition of lantern festivals with modern cutting-edge technology and lights. The Lights of the World displays extend from 18 to 60 feet, showcasing features of different cultures and civilizations around the globe. Lights of the World promises an unforgettable exploration of global cultures and cuisine. Don't miss Lights of the World, the largest lights show in North America, and right here in Phoenix at the Arizona State Fairgrounds!

3. Zoo Lights | Phoenix Zoo

The Phoenix Zoo is one of the largest non-profit zoos in the United States, caring for more than 3,000 animals, with nearly 400 species represented, including many threatened or endangered species.

4. Holiday Lights | Scottsdale - McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park

Located in the beautiful Sonoran Desert, Scottsdale’s McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park is the most unique park of its kind in the country. The 30 acre park’s centerpiece is the Paradise & Pacific Railroad, a fully functional 15 gauge railroad with scale steam and diesel locomotives and riding stock. No trip to the park is complete without a ride on the 1950-vintage Allan Hershell carousel or a visit to the Scottsdale Railroad Museum.

5. Tumbleweed Tree Lighting | Chandler

The Tumbleweed Recreation Center is a 62,000 square-foot recreational facility located in Tumbleweed Regional Park designed to assist patrons in getting and staying active. From Tumble Tots and Teen Fitness to Personal Training and Silver Sneakers, the TRC provides a wide variety of classes, activities and events for all ages.

6. Fantasy of Lights | Tempe

Everyone loves a parade, right? A parade that floats is even better! A holiday tradition at Tempe Town Lake - The 20th Annual Fantasy of Lights Boat Parade. Watch as 50+ festively decorated boats float on the lake. Enjoy food from our on-site food trucks, get your holiday shopping done at the Holiday Market, and enjoy a glass of beer or wine while watching live entertainment on the main stage. The festivities begin December 14th!

7. Desert Botanical Garden | Phoenix

Celebrate the spirit of the season with Las Noches de las Luminarias. Stroll the Garden’s trails lined with 8,000 flickering luminaria bags, gaze at twinkling lights and admire the enchanting glow of Wild Rising creatures. Happen upon tunes from eclectic entertainment groups, and cherish the time spent with friends and family during the holiday season.
