In this day and age of technology and finding homes online, the marketing for selling your home needs to be frequent and amazing. If your home cannot be seen across the internet, including on social media, then in today’s world your home is essentially invisible. Professional Photos & Videos

One thing that quickly repels buyers are poor quality photos. Photos that are dark and dismal, with items messily strewn about are one click away from losing a buyer to another house. Buyers need to be able to see themselves living in the home for sale. 

Professional photos and videos that are carefully planned and beautifully executed will keep the buyer looking at your home longer and will give them a better sense of picturing themselves in that particular living space. 

Videos are relatively new in the home-selling process, but equally as important. Showing interaction with your home and how someone would walk and turn around in it, gives something more that photos can not. Having a high quality video gives the buyer something more to see and can entice them just enough to schedule to see it in person!

Without even having to search online, social media is easily a constant marketer for your home. Your real estate agent having a strong social media presence is critical to getting your house sold. Although it may sound silly, social media carries a lot of weight in advertising and marketing. 

A social media post is quick and effective in capturing a potential buyer's interest, anything from advertising the listing to a price change. A real estate agent with a good foundation of followers on their social media as well as knowing how to run ads across platforms, is a real estate agent who knows their stuff and has the ability to reach potential buyers for your home.

Open Houses

Open houses are another marketing strategy that your real estate agent should definitely offer you. Although each realtor has their own opinions on whether or not open houses sell homes, ultimately the decision should be yours as a home buyer. Open houses keep the views on your home active, so it is not just sitting on the internet. 

Don’t want an open house? No worries! This is just another great marketing feature that allows buyers to get a sense of what your home is like and place their future life in that home.
