This week we’ve got more good news for sellers looking to sell for top dollar and buyers looking to get a good deal! We’re continuing to see average sales price per square foot increase and while we still hear some rumblings about rates, all posted rates from the 30 year FHA to the 30-year VA and even the 15-year fixed and 30-year jumbo are all lower than they were a month ago. With less than a handful of cities still sitting in a buyer’s market and new listing counts lower than they’ve been in nearly 20 years - we can expect continued increase in pricing and an adequate amount of demand for the existing number of houses which will keep our mini-sellers market in full swing through the summer. So, how’s THAT good news for buyers? Well, with the concession dollar amount higher than its been in several years and the number of transactions closing below asking and with more concessions per transaction than normal - buyers have the fair hand in the negotiations, even if its to the tune of a higher price point than they were hoping for. We founded Community on Purpose in 2022 as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting women and families in our community through volunteerism, fundraising, and direct giving along with our podcast where we give space to women who are intentionally creating community through business, giving and living. 

Since its inception, we’ve been honored to provide critical funds to those in our community who need it most, raise awareness for organizations doing incredible work in our own community, and provide a platform for others seeking community through educational and social events, a private facebook group, and professional networking opportunities and volunteer days.
