Super Bowl Predictions (and a real estate halftime show) 🏈 🏡

February - Super Bowl Edition

We thought about sending you our blog for the week but we knew that unless we were talking about the big game this weekend, you’d probably throw it in the trash. Whether you are a super fan (see our predictions below from our two super fans) or just excited about being hometown hosts (don’t miss our favorite party recommendations of the week), statistics show you’ve got this weekend on your mind. And since we are in the business of helping people find bigger living rooms for the big game, we threw in a little update on the market for your half time break.

East Valley Moms - What To Do This Spring

East Valley Moms - Spring Activities!

"In my humble opinion bucket lists are great way to make the most of a new season. And if you’ve been in the East Valley for any amount of time, you know that spring is our time to shine! Spring training, festivals every weekend and so many unique to Arizona seasonal activities shine this time of year.

So, what could be better than putting all our favorite spring activities onto one big list as a mom hack for everyone else to use!

We’ve rounded this into four sections, two of free activities around town, some spend-worthy options and a just for moms section, because if we don’t plan our own time, it’s not happening.

Our list takes you from February’s best valentines events to our can’t-miss annual Easter egg hunt.

A big thank you to Swimhaus Swim School in Gilbert for sponsoring our seasonal bucket lists this year, just one more way they make things easier on parents and fun for kids."

Halftime Show

Did you know that not only can you watch Rhianna during the half time show but you can live like her? Last year Rhianna rented her house for a staggering $80,000 a month. If you were considering that, boy have I got a deal for you! All jokes aside, the local real estate market is making headlines as big as that monthly payment! We have emerged from the most rapid market cycle in history - and if the last ten months haven’t given you whiplash then you were probably waiting cautiously on the sidelines. Inventory continues to drop, down another 5% this past month and pending listings are WAY up - 40% higher than they were last month. Since most of you have football brain this week, I’ll just say that means we having finally returned to a healthy market where sellers can sell and buyers can buy and both will get a little something extra at the end of the day. Sellers are seeing prices stabilize while buyers still have the ability to get some concessions - so if YOU were thinking of making a move last year, let’s talk about how to help you get back in the game.

Kim Ehlbeck & Fam - Eagles Fans

Kim is one of our licensed Realtors & her and her family have been Eagles fans for 20+ years

Fun fact from Kim: "We’ve never lived in Philly or the East Coast but both of us grew up in states that didn’t originally have an NFL team (Az and Nevada). Robert, my husband, picked the Eagles for an office pool and won the prize of $1,500. We’ve been fans ever since."

Score prediction: Philly 21 | KC 17

Ari Pollard & Fam - Chiefs Fans

Ari is another one of our Realtors and our licensed Transaction Coordinator, and the other half of this rivalry.

"I’m a chiefs fan because I married into the Chiefs Kingdom (IYKYK). My husband, Tim, was born and raised in Kansas so Chiefs is in his blood. Them Midwest boys are LOYAL. 😂 I really don’t care for football but our little one Israel LOVES it!", Ari Pollard.

Fun fact from Ari: When Israel would cry in the car as a baby, I’d play Chiefs football videos and he’d instantly calm down. His second word (after “mama”, of course) was FOOT BALL!"

Score prediction: Philly 28 | KC 35

Dan White Loans

Owning a home is one of the most important things you can do for your family, your finances, and your lifestyle. I grew up in Dayton, OH as the youngest of 7 and raised by two Teachers. We had a family home that my Mom and Dad owned for nearly 50 years. It was a hub for the family and a great source of pride for my parents. I entered the mortgage business in 1995 and moved to Phoenix in 1998. For 25 years I have truly enjoyed helping people with their home purchase or refinance. I have a number of hobbies, including the Arizona Cardinals, Barbecuing, and exercise.

My biggest joy, however, is having family and friends over to the house for a get-together. Since entering the mortgage business, I have never forgotten how important this process is for our clients because it has proved to be so important in my own life. We always will remember the feeling of getting the keys for the first time to a new home. I am married to my wife Robin, we have children (a new Grandchild), and have helped 3 of them buy their first home. It’s both exciting and can be a little nerve-racking at the same time. But that is why we are here. To take away some of the stress and make the process smoother. We would love to help you or anyone you know to purchase a home or refinance their existing mortgage!
