Welcome back Weekend Warriors! School is back in session for most kids and we're supposedly getting a break on temperatures but at well over 100 degrees, the indoor play parks are still just as packed as they were a week ago. While the kids are getting into their school year routine and the stores are shifting their inventory to the holidays, its clear that everyone is dreaming of cooler days ahead. Whether you are planning for Schnepf Farms Pumpkin & Chili Festival this Fall or thinking about the festive finds that will come out at the Gilbert Farmers Market in a few weeks, it's good to imagine what's to come! Speaking of what's to come, while the Summer months are a popular time to make a move, we'll likely see those housing prices continue to creep up in spite of those pesky interest rates. In fact, as temperatures fall, housing prices will be drawn to do quite the opposite. In this month's edition of Weekend Warriors, we've shared our top tips for first time home buyers entering the market, shared a bit about what those national sources are saying is coming in the real estate market and of course, our favorite activities for the whole family right here in the East Valley. Market Update
The real estate market looks very different today than it did even a year ago, and not a day goes by that we aren’t helping first time home buyers navigate the world of home ownership. In fact, we’ve got several families who we continue to help, generation after generation, realize the benefits of home ownership in every single market. Today, more than 40% of our closings have seller concessions towards closing costs - which means that with down payment assistance programs and 100% financing programs and even your VA benefit or USDA purchase, you could feasibly get into a home having saved up very little as long as you can make the monthly payment.
