We’ve been tracking the Coronavirus pandemic and its impact on our families and our market for just over two months now and while there is much uncertainty about the spread of the disease and much debate over the precautions or lack of precautions being taken, we have become experts in uncovering the needs of our community members and exploring solutions for them with everything that we know to be true today. As professionals in the real estate industry, our knowledge and experience provides a unique perspective on our local housing industry and as moms ourselves, we can’t underestimate the importance to us of disseminating that information and helping others as we do our own family.

Officially halfway through 2020 and it feels in some ways like the longest and the shortest year of recent history. There have been so many challenges to our daily life and yet so many rewards as communities draw closer together in support of each other. 

In our profession, service and education have always come first but it has never been more important to our clients than it is today that we meet them where they are at and share the opportunities, the risks, and the beautiful light on the other side. Everyone’s situation is different, your situation is special, and we want to help.

The Southeast Valley real estate market has shown its strength through these challenging times as inventory remains low, more people are buying and selling homes than they were before COVID-19 hit, and our average dollar per square foot is up 10% year over year meaning that if you have considered making a move, now might be the perfect time.

The grey clouds we’re watching percolating on the horizon have us watching those families financially impacted by the world events over the last couple of months and how their recovery will impact their ability to pay their rent or mortgage once the government backed programs for deferment end.

So, what does it mean for you? 

 If you own or rent a home and your deferment status is ending, reach out to us. We understand the risks that could pose to your family and if there is an opportunity to access the equity in your home, we want to help you get it. Refinancing, taking out a home equity line of credit or otherwise putting your own money to work in a nest egg might help you weather the next storm.
